No matter many times we have talked about this it always bears repeating – do not use a blanket to cover your baby to protect them from the sun. It “could put them at risk of heat stroke or sudden infant death syndrome.” According to a Swedish study from an article by Lauren Grounsell in the Daily Mail Australia. “It gets extremely hot down in the pram, something like a thermos. It would quickly become uncomfortable and potentially dangerous for the child … if a child gets too hot then the child may think that it is back in the womb, which is why breathing may stop.”
So please don’t risk your baby’s life! The purpose of “Sweet Baby Shade” is to protect your child not only from harmful sun --- but from the blanket!
